During Microsoft’s event, the company had pulled out its very much celebrated flagship under the tablet segment, the Surface Pro 4. It aims to compete against the other two giants from Apple and Google. While the battle of the slates is worth penning, the much tougher competition under the smartphone segment can be compared to a boxing match’s main event. Microsoft Lumia 950 had been presented—albeit as a challenger—against Nexus 5X and iPhone 6s.
You can check on the specs below to gauge how you feel about this new Microsoft flagship. Meanwhile, the stand-out features of Lumia 950 includes the Continuum display dock, USB Type C, glance screen technology and Windows Hello.
The Continuum display dock is a knock-out feature that can bring sparkles on your eyes. It actually brings the handset into another level of portability. With the dock, Lumia 950 can be easily converted into a mini and more portable version of Windows 10 PC. Just connect the smartphone to the Display Dock together with a mouse and keyboard. After that, you can hook up the dock to a monitor (or TV) and you can then commence using your device a la Windows 10 PC.
On the other hand, Windows Hello can let you easily access your Lumia without inputting long passwords. Easily access your device through fingerprint scanning and according to Microsoft, they face and iris scanning features will soon follow.
Lumia 950 can be fetched at the price of $549 by next month (November).
