Volvo has taken serious pride with their version of Cross Country. So popular that it totally unseated the regular V70 from the array, and kept the restatement in what we know as the XC70. With staying power as drastic as its train, XC70 remains in Volvo’s list of models up-to-date.
Exterior
Due to this heritage, Volvo has endowed its latest model, the new 2015 V60 (officially dubbed as 2015.5) the Cross Country cut. This means that V60 gets the 8-inch ground clearance and high suspension. Other features that have received new make-up are the skid plates, roof rails, honeycomb grille, silver sill extensions and the mirrors which are put in gloss black.
Engine
The Cross Country variant of V60 gets quite a strong powertrain in the body of 2.5L Turbocharged 5-cylinder that is accompanied with a Haldex all-wheel-drive system and six-speed automatic transmission. It renders amazingly noiseless and smooth driving that sets V60 in the pedestal of competence.

Interior
Taking inside the wagon, you can see that the center console stacks quite a number of buttons but are neatly organized in a simple layout with all due fairness. There is also an impressive full phone keypad which is closely associated with Bluetooth speakerphone and an awesome climate control system. The navigation system is all standard but its tiny controller can be a tad frustrating.
V60 Cross Country seats still bear the signature comfort that Volvo is known of. They are all made of real leather, contoured in a way that passengers enjoy the comfortable confines. As the newest addition this year, the seats are supported with electric lumbar in contrast to the out-dated manual knob we’ve seen before. However, the Cross Country is recommended for active couples or singles only, with the rear back not actually passenger-friendly—too cramped as you may observed with the rear roofing design.
