Renault Megane 2017 Will Now Replace the Fluence Sedan for Good
According to car experts, the 2017 Renault Megane sedan will definitely replace the French company’s Fluence sedan series for good. Actually known for its line of hatchbacks and estate car versions, the 2017 Megane Sedan is said to target the sedan market in a new way. After looking at the sedan’s leaked images, the experts are somewhat convinced that the sedan carries the familiar Renault design and style language. This is very visible if you’re going to put your focus on its C-shaped headlamps’ design. In addition to that, the wraparound LED tail lights actually extend up to the boot lid’s center, which is actually common for later Renault versions.
It is somewhat revealed that the 2017 Megane sedan will be featuring at least five different engines, two of which are petrol-powered while the remaining three are all diesel-powered engines. The first petrol engine is said to have a 115 horsepower while the other one had a 130 horsepower. The diesel engines, on the other hand, are categorized into 90 horsepower, 110 horsepower and 130 horsepower engine variants, to be more specific. There are four types of available transmissions, namely: 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and automatic and last but not the least, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Looking on the interior side, the leaked images had revealed that the 2017 Megane sedan has a 7-inch TFT digital counter, HUD Unit, I-Surface Multimedia R-Link for its Infotainment System, Multi-sense feature and much more. It is also revealed that the rear seats are also spacious compared than before in addition to its larger trunk, which is said to contain up to more than 500 liters boot capacity.
It is revealed that the 2017 Renault Megane Sedan’s price is said to be around Rs. 17.08 lakh on-road price, which is formally revealed during the New Delhi Auto Show.
