Just recently, the Audi India had just imported the latest 2017 model of the company’s most popular sedan in entry level, the 2017 Audi A3. A month earlier, it’s very interesting to know that the German Carmaker had announced that the sedan now has a face-lifted version. What’s more interesting is that the company wants to launch it very soon.
Experts know that it has been two years since the company had started bringing the A3 sedan into the Indian market. However, the real reason that definitely caught up our attention is the fact that the 2017 Audi A3 Sedan is now being offered in a 1.4-liter petrol version, which is a very convenient option fir the Indian Sedan Market.
Under the Hood
Recent tests have shown that the 1.4-liter petrol version of the 2017 Audi A3 Sedan runs at 176 British horsepower in at least 5100-6200 revolutions-per-minute along with 250 joules of torque at 1250-5000 rpm. You may say that the engine power and torque is less impressive compared to other sedans. Transmission options could either be 7-speed or 6-speed S Tronic Automatic, depending on its availability.
Exterior and Interior
Compared to the outgoing version of the A3 sedan, the 2017 Audi A3 definitely looks more stylish and premium. Necessary changes have been made to its interior cabin as well as its external look. Major updates include Bi-Xenon or Matrix headlights, depending on the car version. A new headlamp cluster is also available, along with some serious re-designing in front grille, front bumpers and significantly larger air intakes. When you look at both sides, the 2017 Audi A3 looks similar to the previous one, especially if you failed to notice the new and stylish alloy body. The rear section also looks similar, if it were not for the sharper LED tail lamps.
Because of the good news, the experts are now expecting that the 2017 Audi A3 sedan will be launched in the Indian Car Market by the end of this year or early next year, with its selling price starting at Rs. 22.5 Lakh, less the taxes.
