Sony released yet another model under the Xperia moniker, the Xperia M4 Aqua. The brand made it quite obvious with the name that the handset is a waterproof smartphone. It is full on IP68 rating so you can fully submerge in in fresh water and work on snapping picture-perfect, fun memories.
You can go as deep as 5 feet in water within a 30 minute period without damaging the smartphone. Note however, that we use the term fresh with water. Meaning, the phone is limited only to poolside and is not intended for seawater type. M4 Aqua is also dust resistant, making it an IP68/65 resistant device.
M4 Aqua isn’t only about substance, but also caters to the taste of the stylish crowd. Essentially, it has borrowed the design language from its Xperia Z sibling. It simply means that it’s a perfect conglomeration of both plastic and metal.
Under the hood, you can marvel at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset with octacore processor clocked at 11.5GHz. It performs closely with Adreno 405 GPU, Google Lollipop OS and 2MB of RAM. What really makes this delightful smartphone a certified fun partner is its tandem of 13MP rear and 5MP selfie snappers.
There are only two downsides we can see on this phone: the limited 16MB native storage wherein you can access only 11MB and its non-detachable battery.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is listed with Rs. 21,799 (roughly $342) price tag in Infibeam.
