Ten months after the launching of Sammy’s Z1, the Korean device giant now gives us the successor, Samsung Z3. The smartphone was launched in India last Wednesday, surprising even Sammy’s avid fanatics. The company noted that Z3 was labeled as “Made in India,” making it the first country where the handset goes on sale. By next week, consumers will be able to purchase Z3 on offline markets such as Snapdeal.
Z3 sports a plastic polycarbonate built and the typical Samsung design in every angle. There are only few differences noted herein such as the new oval-shaped home button on the front as opposed to the square one in Z1 and the model is much slimmer now. The front camera and sensors are put into different locations. It also comes in three different colors—Black, Silver and Gold.
Z3 uses Tizen 2.3 as OS that Android users may find simple and practical. For most of the consumers, this may be a big plus. Usual options can be found in the Settings app while the notification tray features a single scrollable row of quick toggles for the torch, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other important functions. If you want to customize the phone’s theme, you can do it via Styler option.
