A few weeks ago, the Samsung Galaxy A9 specifications leaked at the Geekbench site. And now, some promotional material of the latest Galaxy A has been seen on Weibo, what most people claim that somehow looks official.
Featuring a 6-inch Super Amoled Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel resolution) display, this leak opposes to Samsung’s suggested 5.5-inch Full-HD Display. The images show 8MP front and 13MP rear cameras, along with different set of sensors, contradicting the company’s 5MP front and 16MP rear cameras, during their official listing.
Other features include a Snapdragon 620 octa-core 1.8GHz clocked processor along with 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage capacity. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, Micro-USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi. Leaked images also show that it will have a fingerprint scanning and Samsung Pay features. But its best feature, up-to-date, is its 4000mAh battery that is somewhat larger than this year’s Samsung Galaxy A7. It is also said to be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
As of now, Samsung Galaxy A9’s release date is somewhere early next year at the rumored price of CNY 3,000, which is around $463 or Rs 32,000. It is also said to come in Gold, White and Black versions.
