It was noticeable that the old-time player, Nokia has been absent for some quite time now. This was even confirmed by its chief executive officer, Rajeev Suri. However, the absence is not because of its retirement or withdrawal from the tough competition in the smartphone industry but rather as a momentary break at least until the end of the fourth quarter of 2016.
Despite the more-than-a-year break from the mainstream, there are rumors that Nokia is going to release its first smartphone to bear the Finnish company logo after so many years, the Nokia C1
The higher spec’d variant will rock in 5.5-inch FHD display with 3GB RAM, 64GB native storage and dual snappers of 13MP & 8MP. On the other hand, the lesser variant is said to have a 5.0-inch screen with decent 2GB RAM, 32GB native storage and dual cam of 8MP and 5MP.
Nevertheless, what seems to be a handsome set of specs today will be expectably out-of-date by next year. If these rumors are true, wouldn’t you be raising your eyebrows since the handsets will be the first to bear the Finnish emblem after quite some time?
