Microsoft has recently announced its latest basic handset, the Nokia 222. It may not be a smartphone but it surely comes highly recommended as a backup device should your efficient little assistant runs out of energy. Or in case of developing countries, the phone offers an enticing bargain.
Nokia 22 features Nokia Series 30+ OS and has a few 2.5G network compatible apps like Facebook, Twitter, Messenger, MSN Weather, Bing Search and Opera Mini. Since the specifications are mainly of the basic handset, the 1100mAh battery lives for more than 20 days in standby mode or an equivalent of 20 hours talk time. Users who are fond of calling can find this model a great buy to suit their communication style.
Gamers won’t be left out as they can download one Gameloft game per month within a year, a gift by Microsoft. They can also purchase games like Real Football, Modern Combat 2, the Amazing Spiderman and Asphalt 6 for variations.
While nothing’s extraordinary about Nokia 222, it is not also unpleasant-looking. While its design can be pretty generic in black or white finish, it holds its own cute charm.
The phone is available in Dual SIM and Single SIM variants and will be available in markets this month.
