Rumors about LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone for this year, the G5 series, have swarmed the internet these past few weeks. Though LG isn’t saying anything as of this time, leaks about this smartphone somehow gave us some idea that the rumors are definitely true.
According to rumors, this flagship will come with a secondary display that is somehow similar to V10, along with a 5.3-inch, 160 x 1040 pixel resolution QHD screen. This one will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, which had recently gone out to the smartphone market last year. If the rumors are true, it is expected somehow to contain the latest Qualcomm Kryo CPU, which has 2x more performance than the 810’s CPU, along with Adreno 530 GPU, which exceeds 430’s overall performance and battery conservation. In addition, this smartphone will device a Magic Slot feature that, according to rumors, will enable some functional expansions of hardware modules.
As for the camera part, this will contain an 8MP front and 16MP rear shooter, along with a so-called RGB sensor that assists autofocus and other scene recognition functions. A fingerprint sensor, by the way, can also be expected as an addition.
