Apple has set a pinnacle of example so drastically that even its design is an idol among smartphone brands. We’re talking about how Lenovo S60 bears the resemblance of an iPhone—complete with curved edges. We bet that the white variant would be a sold out in no time compared to its black, yellow and pink sisters. However, the availability of colors has been made region-wise by none other than the maker itself.
Meanwhile, the S60 had already been launched in Russia for $290. It comes with 5-inch 720p IPS front display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1.2GHz 4-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 Kitkat and Adreno 306. For storage, it can accommodate 8GB internally and can be expanded for up to 32GB via microSD. Rounding at the back, a 13MP snapper is attached and works with the 5MP front snapper.
The snapdragon chipset supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. Juicer is capable of running the lights until 2150 mAh is fully consumed.
Stating the facts about Lenovo S60, it is then certified that this one is a capable mid-range set with a cheaper price tag. Unfortunately for those who hope for Google Lollipop, there’s no way of telling if Lenovo is willing to upgrade the current Kitkat OS for S60. Just don’t forget to cross your fingers, though, and who knows what will happen next.
