ASUS Zenfone 2E was recently hailed as an exclusive smartphone device for AT&T. It will be made available today (July 24) at barely $120 without documented agreement from Walmart and Target stores as part of the carrier’s GoPhone Prepaid brand. If you are a habitué of Best Buy, better watch out for Zenfone 2E on August 2.
What We Consider Great
The decent 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen at the front fascia with 720 x1280 pixels resolution topped the list of what we consider “impressive” characteristics of Zenfone 2E. Additionally, its chipset—albeit being a backward piece of electronic chip— can support the latest 4G LTE connectivity. Other than these two, we can say that most of the specs are considered so-so.
What We Consider Unsatisfactory
Seriously, with the emergence of 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAMs, the 1GB RAM capacity is getting old. But then again, it closely works with a mere dual core processor.
Conclusion
You can get a much better bargain with your 120 bucks if you would only take time to research. Yet, if you are a hard core ASUS aficionado, then Zenfone 2E is worth a try.
