Age Bracket
- Applicants for openings in JKSSB should take note the following age brackets effective as on January 1, 2014.
- Open merit candidates :18- 40 years old
- PH candidates : maximum of 42 years old
- OSC / ALC / RBA / SC / ST : 18- 43 years old
- EXSM candidates : 18- 48 years old
- Service/ Contractual : 18- 40 years old
Educational Background
- Store Assistant
- Must have achieved Matriculation in a government recognized academic institute
- Skill: Acquired typing speed of 30 wpm
- Canning Instructor
- Must have achieved Diploma / Degree in Fruit Preservation or Food Processing from a recognized academic institute

- Applicants are required to pay the processing cost of Rs.400 payable through Challan method in any branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, using the A/C No. indicated on Challan form.
