Even by the sound of the brand’s name, Elephone has been deemed promising. And the Chinese smartphone maker’s efforts are finally being paid off. Now, the big guy has added yet another exciting model in its portfolio… the Elephone Vowney.
What’s exciting about Vowney aside from the specs is its mammoth battery (typical of Elephone). It is clad with faux chrome frame and plastic body but does not look cheap. It’s big and bulky but hey—give the maker a break. Vowney also uses software keys for navigation that may look physical but they’re not, plus the LED ellipse lights up during charging time.
The Helio X10 SoC from MediaTek along with the whopping 4GB RAM gives off smooth sailing in most of the task you throw at it. As for the connectivity, it can accommodate both microSIM and nanoSIM card simultaneously; or a microSIM and microSD at the same time.
For snapshot fanatics, you can experiment to your heart’s content with the gigantic 20.7MP rear-facing cam and the 8MP front-facer. Storage capacity starts at 32GB in native but can be expanded for up to 64GB via microSD card.
