If you’re a somewhat fitness and health fanatic, check out this sport-style, Android Wear Smartwatch.
Featuring an almost-circular 1.37-inch, 360 x 325 pixel display, Moto 360 Sport watch is somewhat similar to Moto 360 when it comes to specifications. Powered by Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 300 mAh battery and a 4GB internal memory, it also has a built-in GPS, which allows you to do real-time tracking even without carrying your paired smartphone around. It also has a new AnyLight Display feature that allows superior visibility in its screen in both light and dark conditions.
The smartwatch itself is water-proof, it is actually IP-67 certified meaning, it is safeguarded against somewhat ‘minor splashes’. However, don’t expect it to withstand full submersion that much. When it comes to its looks, it sure caters a very sporty look, along with a silicon strap. Unfortunately, the strap doesn’t include swapping features at all, meaning you just can’t replace it.
Overall, the smartwatch is a great improvement compared to the previous Moto 360, along with popular fitness apps like MapMyRun, Strava, Google Fit and Fitbit. It also has heart rate monitoring and music player features, making it more ‘athlete-friendly”.
The said smartwatch is expected to hit UK and France stores first, then US later in January next year at the price of $299.99. It also come in black, white and flame orange-colored versions.
