We’ve been impressed by Lenovo’s Yoga series due to its flexibility and outstanding features for a tablet. And just last September, the Chinese-American tech giant launched its latest addition to the said family. Dubbed as YOGA TAB 3 Pro, the tablet speaks of the same design language derived from its predecessors. What’s new is the faux leather finish that adorns and protects the rear side of the device, robust metal chassis for the premium feel and IP21 certification for water splashes.
There may be little updates for the tablet but one can’t ignore the integrated pico-projector that is now located to the kickstand. This simply means that the projector can be easily adjusted by simply rotating the kickstand.
Tab 3 Pro was also endowed with highly dense 10-inch IPS LCD screen. It may be smaller compared to the previous model but at least, Lenovo put additional resolution to this one. Moving on with the specs, Lenovo chose Intel Atom SoC with quadcore processor, 2GB RAM and Android Lollipop OS for system performance. Multi-taskers will surely like the smooth operation by Tab 3 Pro, but gamers won’t be as eager.
Another downer is the lack of flash assist with its primary camera. Despite the hefty pixel count, the image quality produced by both snappers is less than desirable. However, the gigantic 10200 mAh juicer with standby time of up to 49 days can compensate these downers.
All in all, Tab 3 Pro is definitely a worthy for on-the-go multimedia professionals. This is a must-have assistant that also comes handy for presentations or such. You won’t find its $499.99 price tag too expensive simply because it gets your work done.
