Introduction
If you want something from the Swedish car maker that is something posh, handsome but with a tinge of quirkiness, try the 2016 Volvo XC90 T6. Good thing that Volvo is already back on track but this time being its own Scandinavian self rather than a subsidiary of Ford. As it appears, it brings in great excitement under the category of 3-row Luxury Crossover- slash- SUV.
Pros
Volvo made a major leap with XC90 particularly with T6 Inscription. The team surely did not miss inputting authentic Scandinavian design here and was even fearless in incorporating technology in classic minimalist taste. Rich details include the sloped hood with flaring out hip fenders to give off a curvaceous appeal.
Cons
There’s no doubt that Volvo exerted quite an effort for their pride. However, there are unsatisfactory details within and this mainly points out the small, inline-4 Drive-E engine. While it can put enough smoothness for the drive, it loses communication with the driver making it too automatic.
Bottom line
It is nice to know that Volvo can now proceed being itself. Having XC90 as a premiere, we can expect something great in the future and as it is, the big guys can now expect an addition to a tough competition.
