Daimler has unveiled the interesting 2017 version of Smart ForTwo that goes topless on your whim. Introducing the 2017 Smart Fortwo Cabriolet, a cutesy convertible subcompact perfect for the streets of the urban jungle.
Cabriolet is almost identical to its Coupe sibling, save for the sun-proof cloth you can easily access. In mere 12 seconds, the convertible roof can be raised or lowered through the remote keyfob or the buttons inside your car. It has three distinguishable positions—closed, partially open and fully lowered. Interestingly, customers are offered with three colors coming in blue, red and classic black hue variants.
The compressed features bear an appealing look that can make you scream ‘Kawaii!’ like a fan-girl. The white variant with red and black highlights is a certified cool species. It will be offered in 4 major trim levels (what we like to call the 4P’s): Pure, Passion, Prime and Proxy.
The base comes with standard features like automatic Bluetooth, climate control system, LED running lights, power windows, a steering wheel with redundant controls and hill-start assist. We concede that this is a very generous offer.
