While we are all excited in waiting for the flagships of the different mobile brands which we are going to see in MWC 2015 event in Barcelona, Sony has pulled out an entry-level model for the all the world to meet last February 10. Sony Xperia E4 is an affordable bargain offered by the Japanese device giant. It will be launched internationally except in the USA by mid-February.
Xperia E4 bears the design of its producer’s OmniBalance language. Physically, we can see that it has rounded edges and somewhat prominent bezel lines. While it might not be generic-looking, it still has that aura of plainness compared to other equivalent cheap phones out there. However, to compensate, Sony has included a premium twist with a stainless steel camera ring and diamond-shaped, aluminum power button.
Chipset is made by MediaTek, clocking at 1.3GHGz that highlights Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The 5-inch IPS LCD screen graces the front façade and accommodates 540 x 960 pixels resolution with 220ppi. Performance is made better by Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and 1GB RAM. Other main features indicate the presence of 8GB internal storage, 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing snappers, 2300mAh battery and dual SIM compatibility (at least for other E4 variants).
Yes, Sony Xperia E4 is available in different variants as it will be introduced with different names: Sony E2104, Sony E2105, Sony E2114 and Sony E2115.
