Samsung Z1 Tizen’s debut has been hampered by the backing out controversy of Tenizen partners. But finally, and all thanks to Samsung’s extra efforts to this project, the first Tizen based Samsung handset makes its way to the markets by January, 2015. Particularly, India will open its market for the Z1 Tizen on January 18, 2015.
India is the first country to sell the said handset and price indicates a mere two-digit figure of USD 90! China expects Z1 by February. Shortly after its China launching, it is bound to enter South Korea.
Z1 Tizen was originally intended for high-end customers. We can use our logic to come up with the conclusion as how high-end goes entry-level, right? But this is a good thing for budget-friendly Samsung customers, though.
While Samsung’s reason for releasing entry-level modes declares competition with other mobile companies selling uber-cheap smartphones, it won’t be an easy feat for them considering Z1 Tizen’s specs. The debutante is reported to be exhibiting a 4-inch WVGA screen display, running at 0.5GB RAM only! Performance is based in 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum CPU.
