Sony Alpha 6000 camera Get the world’s fastest autofocus

It may be hard time for Sony in PC and TV business but Sony is rolling out new tricks in the camera business. Recently it launched the new Sony Alpha 6000 camera which is a combination of 179 points of phase detection along with 25 points of contrast detection. Sony claims that the world’s fastest autofocus where it is offering mirrorless lens. Sony Alpha 6000 camera is pretty fast and can capture bright, dark, close as well as distant pictures almost instantaneously.

Successor to NEX-6, the Alpha 6000 is more compact which is other priority of Sony Company. Recently Sony Company debuted as the world’s smallest mirrorless camera with Wi-Fi at CES. Alpha 6000 camera is just 12 ounces and is 1.8 inches thick without a lens.

The camera can capture still images up to 24.3 megapixels through an image sensor called APS-C CMOS sensor. The camera also supports the most recent image processor by Sony known as Bionz X which takes up to 11 shots per second in continuous shooting mode.

While LCD screen supports hard-to-get shots it is not a touchscreen. However it contains a built-in OLED viewfinder. For direct output to a TV it even carries a microHDMI port.

With Wi-Fi Alpha 6000 camera can even connect to a phone or tablet without any difficulty. NFC pairing with other devices helps easy transfer of photos. Besides being quick photo transfers, host of apps such as PlayMemories where camera can run on and the app is called Star Trail which also enables you to capture spectacular time lapses even of the dark sky.


The Alpha 6000 Camera will be available from March for just $799 as a full package with a standard lens. In a nutshell Sony offers world’s fastest autofocus at a very good price.
