The South Korean vehicle manufacturer, Hyundai recently introduced its latest compact SUV model, ix25 in China and will unveil it in India by next year (mid 2015). While it has a starting price of CNY119, 800 (USD 19,515) to a high-end class price of CNY179, 800 (USD 29,290) in China, there’s still no inkling as to how much it will cost in India. Hyundai ix25 is expected to challenge other SUV varieties such as Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport, Nissan Terrano, Honda XR-V Nissan Juke and Mahindra Scorpio.
The model is available in 1.6L and 2.0L petrol motors, having engine capacity of 122.8bhp, 150.7Nm of torque and; 158bhp, 192Nm of top torque respectively. Further SUV specifications and other details are as follows:
