Ford Explorer Platinum 2016 : Set Out to Conquer Hearts and Faith

Once again, conquering the hearts and faith of the Ford fans, is the newly released 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum, the answer to the carmaker’s downer—well—just last month.  This time, Ford nailed the right formula: luxury features deriving from the Limited and the powerful performance coming from Sport.  With these two combined, the answer is quite drastic.

One of the Best

Platinum competes with Dodge’s Durango and Honda’s Pilot, making it one of the toppers in their three-row, midsize crossover and SUV segment.  It has the power of a V8 despite having a V6, and comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with manual shifting mode.  While this gives decent stats when it comes to fuel economy, Ford can still manage to pull this-and-that to make it more efficient.

The Terrain Management Systems sand-and-gravel setting is a notable and must-try feature for explorers.  Even the handling and brake systems gives a secure assurance through mountainous terrains.  Platinum also has a hill-descent assist that help you during your descent in tricky down-hill terrains.

Aesthetic Touch

Once inside, you can see wide seats upholstered with quilted leather just like the seats from Limited.  The material is also used to clad the steering wheel and the dashboard. At the outside, the satin- chrome highlights as well as the 20-inch aluminum wheels set the cool-factor for this guy.
