Microsoft who just launched their Lumia 535 today (November 11) will soon unveil another smartphone under Lumia family. Microsoft Lumia 940 information and relative specifications had been leaked by a source who took pictures of the documents detailing main specifications of this new Microsoft handset. It will be a successor of the graphical type Lumia 930 which itself was quite a modest handset.
It seems that Lumia 940 is a promising variant having the 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB with 3GB RAM. Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by Windows 10, the latest Microsoft OS. The 5 inch display with 1080ppi also features the technology of Gorilla Glass 4. The snappers are equally powerful themselves. The primary will be of 24MP capable of Ultra HD video in 4,000 pixel resolution at 60fps. The front snapper will be a selfie enthusiast’s newest best friend at 5MP High Definition display! If these details are exact, Lumia 940 is surely applauded as a winner smartphone!
Dimensions are not far from those of its predecessor. Having 137 x 71 x 8.9mm and weight of 149g, it will only be a mere 1mm thicker than Lumia 930. However, even Lumias are known to be budget-friendly, the Lumia 940 will go as an exception. Pricing starts at estimated $600 and may still go higher as Lumia 940 will be offered with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB variants. Unfortunately, there is still no apparent date of Lumia 940’s debut but hopefully, Microsoft won’t let us wait for long.
